We’re stuck in an airport after a missed and now delayed connection, so it’s the perfect time to do a little stitching. I’ve brought several of the Little Sheep Virtues patterns as they’re easy to do with not a lot of concentration and rechecking the pattern. I started it at the first airport, stitched on the plane and now at airport number two.
Reassuringly Bella our golden retriever is having a whale of a time at home with our daughter, she’s probably not missing us at all!
I live in a busy market town in Yorkshire with my husband, kids, dogs and chickens. I love trying new crafts, rediscovering old ones, gardening, walking...anything creative really
I started this blog after my New Year resolution worked so well. My resolution (the first one I've ever kept!) was to post a photograph of my garden on Facebook every day. My hope was that I would then see what was good in the garden and not just weeds and work, which was my tendency. The unexpected side-effect was that I have enjoyed many more hours in the garden.
I am hoping that 'The Crafty Creek' will have the same effect.
Happy creating!
That is funny that your stitching project says “Patience” – how appropriate. Glad you have it to work on and hope your flight delay got resolved quickly!
I don’t think sewing needles have ever been a problem, they don’t like scissors so I use a clover thread cutter which I wear as a pendant or a tiny pair of scissors (1″ total length)which Kate chiconi gave me. Interestingly having been through 4 airport security checks this holiday with no issues, we are now on a cruise and the ship security picked up on it, my bag went through the scanner 3 times before finding what they could see.
That is a very appropriate pattern! I hope you get to your destination with no more delays.

Thanks, we got there in the end, I don’t think a single leg of the journey went as planned 😊

Once a journey goes awry it often means that every other part goes off too. I hope it was all worth it and you have a great time.

A good way to spend the wait but I believed you couldn’t take needles onto a plane?
