January Photo Challenge

Cathy from nanacathydotcom is running a photo challenge this year, mainly as a way of encourage herself to get out more, I think it’s a great idea. This month the theme’s are trees and sky.

I’m rather partial to pointing a camera straight up in a wood, this is one I took on holiday near Wellington in New Zealand…

We had a few lovely sunsets on holiday too, this one was as we were leaving Auckland…

There’s quite a few people sharing their photos so please follow the link to see a tree and sky fest. Next months themes are flower and road, I’m sure I’ll be a bit nearer home next time!

About craftycreeky

I live in a busy market town in Yorkshire with my husband, kids, dogs and chickens. I love trying new crafts, rediscovering old ones, gardening, walking...anything creative really I started this blog after my New Year resolution worked so well. My resolution (the first one I've ever kept!) was to post a photograph of my garden on Facebook every day. My hope was that I would then see what was good in the garden and not just weeds and work, which was my tendency. The unexpected side-effect was that I have enjoyed many more hours in the garden. I am hoping that 'The Crafty Creek' will have the same effect. Happy creating!

  1. Looking up through trees, I always think of Nanacathy, as I know she too loves those views.

Can’t beat a look up at sky through the canopy. I just love that sunset too. Just stunning. Lovely to see your pictures.
