Down the Rabbit Hole HQAL

It’s three weeks since I last showed you my Down the Rabbit Hole quilt, I was making good progress then after a few good sessions on it. This is where I was…

…and I’m afraid that is pretty much where I still am, the final length of vine is still unfinished!! I didn’t have chance to do any applique before I went on holiday. It doesn’t help that I’m a bit wary of taking it away for a weekend or a holiday, just in case it get’s lost!!

I am hoping to concentrate on it once I get back from holiday, in the meantime please follow the links to see what everyone else has been hand quilting.

This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another.  If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.

About craftycreeky

I live in a busy market town in Yorkshire with my husband, kids, dogs and chickens. I love trying new crafts, rediscovering old ones, gardening, walking...anything creative really I started this blog after my New Year resolution worked so well. My resolution (the first one I've ever kept!) was to post a photograph of my garden on Facebook every day. My hope was that I would then see what was good in the garden and not just weeds and work, which was my tendency. The unexpected side-effect was that I have enjoyed many more hours in the garden. I am hoping that 'The Crafty Creek' will have the same effect. Happy creating!

I think it’s far more important that you should be having an enjoyable holiday than that another few inches of twiddly vine get appliquéd. Relax, woman!

  4. Very smart thinking…I am always leaving something behind, whether its a favorite pashmina to a pair of earrings. Echo ing ….the wedding and take lots of pics!

Sometimes a holiday away from everything is just what you need! I hope you have a wonderful time…the rabbits will be waiting and hopefully not multiplying!!
