It’s been a lovely sunny spring day today, great for my WI’s walking group as we walked about 5 miles round the village of Beckwithshaw, saw these gorgeous lambs in what is probably called a garth.
Before I left I had a meander around our garden…
Up round the pond the irises and the hostas are starting to appear, one particular clump of irises has gorgeous purple leaves when they first appear.I also noticed some little primroses just at the side of the path have decided to flower.
The magnolia stellata is looking beautiful, I think it’s my favourite tree in the garden, I just love the delicate, papery blooms.
With the daffodils underneath it it makes quite a pretty scene. There’s still hours of work to do in the garden, but on sunny days like today I can appreciate what I’ve achieved in our garden!
You have a real haven there, and the baby lambs…they are so adorable!
