Bio: I live in a busy market town in Yorkshire with my husband, kids, dogs and chickens. I love trying new crafts, rediscovering old ones, gardening, walking...anything creative really I started this blog after my New Year resolution worked so well. My resolution (the first one I've ever kept!) was to post a photograph of my garden on Facebook every day. My hope was that I would then see what was good in the garden and not just weeds and work, which was my tendency. The unexpected side-effect was that I have enjoyed many more hours in the garden. I am hoping that 'The Crafty Creek' will have the same effect. Happy creating!

Hi Chas, thanks for popping over, I keep changing my mind of what I want to make! It’s going to be an embroidered ‘postcard’, just not sure of the design yet, still mulling things over! I’m last, so I’ll get to see everyone else’s work 🙂

It’s such a wonderful idea – It might be close to summer by the time the sketchbook arrives in your part of the world so I hope that will give you lots of inspiration.

Hi, I love your peg board and would enjoy sharing it with my readers via StitchedinColor.com. May I use a picture of your space in a class I’m creating about sewing room organization? I see the picture I want in the below post. I will name and link to your website.

    Thanks for your consideration! https://thecraftycreek.com/2016/04/17/sewing-room-pegboard/
